Cosmic Classroom Quest

I collaborated with a team tasked with designing and developing an instructional game targeted to teachers required to adopt Marzano Principles for classroom management strategies. We applied the Dick and Carey instructional design model, and after having successfully completed all steps we were ready for prototyping our game design.

This project called for a non-linear storyline which included carefully crafted cosmic characters as antagonists and intergalactic school settings. The beginning of the game, the introduction, provides the background story, the 5 level mission for the educator, and the game rules.

I created the introduction and first mission using Articulate Storyline and have included 15 of the slides below to provide an overview of the Cosmic Classroom Quest. Note there are 8 numbered slides with layers of other images as this is a highly interactive game which includes knowledge check-ins. Feedback is provided for both correct and incorrect answers.
