Practicum
I had the opportunity to complete an internship with Davenport University's Global Campus.

Founded in 1866, Davenport University is a small, private university with a fully online global campus. It is best known for its business administration, marketing, and accounting programs. It is the first in the nation to offer an online dual language program through their Casa Latina program. The instructional design team is comprised of five members for English language courses. Casa Latina relies on two additional instructional designers for its dual language courses.

When I began my internship, the University was transitioning to a new LMS, specifically Blackboard Ultra, and was designing/redesigning courses to be delivered via the new platform. Additionally, Davenport implemented new digital applications to its course development process, including Storyline, Rise, and other rapid eLearning apps to increase student engagement and satisfaction.

OUR FIRM
Throughout my internship, I became proficient with a new learning management system, created a Gantt tracker for timeline management, and worked closely with subject matter experts, faculty members, and assistant department chairs.
